7Quick answers
Do I need any prior CAD or engineering background?
No. Basic familiarity with mechanical shapes helps but isn't required — every concept, from sketching to assembly drawings, is taught from the ground up.
Do I need my own laptop with Creo installed?
A laptop meeting Creo's hardware requirements is strongly recommended for daily practice, but institute computers with Creo are also available in class.
Is this course specific to automotive design, or general CAD?
Core Creo modelling, assembly and drawing skills are general-purpose; the industry-practice module and project choices are weighted toward automotive and heavy-machinery conventions.
Will I actually design real components, or is it mostly theory?
You'll design real parts and assemblies from week one. Every module includes hands-on practice on realistic components, ending in a full design-package capstone.
Are classes online, offline, or both?
Both. Offline batches run at our Alpha-1, Greater Noida campus; online live batches follow the same curriculum with the same trainers. Morning, evening and weekend timings are available.
What can I do after completing this course?
You'll be ready for design engineer, CAD engineer and product design trainee roles at automotive and heavy-machinery firms, with a design portfolio of real projects, and can progress into advanced simulation or manufacturing tracks with the same placement support.
How is Creo Parametric different from SolidWorks or CATIA?
All three are 3D parametric CAD tools, but Creo Parametric is widely standardised in automotive and heavy-machinery firms for its parametric relations, family tables and top-down assembly workflows, whereas CATIA is more common in aerospace-grade Class-A surfacing and SolidWorks is popular in general mechanical design.
