Detailed Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to every batch, mode (offline/online), course and student at Skill Training Institute. Continued enrollment or attendance is treated as acceptance of the current version of these Terms.

01

Acceptance of Terms

  • By submitting an admission form, paying any fee (including token/registration amount), or attending a demo or regular class, the student confirms they have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full.
  • If a student is a minor, these Terms are accepted on the student's behalf by their parent/guardian, who remains responsible for compliance and fee payment.
  • The Institute may update these Terms at any time; the version published on the website or displayed at the Institute at the time of any dispute shall be treated as binding.
02

Admission & Enrollment

  • A seat is confirmed only after the Institute receives the applicable registration/admission amount; verbal commitment or demo attendance does not reserve a seat.
  • The Institute may, at its sole discretion, accept or decline any admission request without assigning a reason.
  • Batch allotment, timing and mode (offline/online) are decided by the Institute based on availability and are not guaranteed to match a student's preference.
  • Information provided at admission (name, contact, qualification, etc.) must be accurate; the Institute is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information supplied by the student.
03

Fees & Refund Policy

  • Course fees, once paid, are strictly non-refundable, whether paid in full or in installments, regardless of the number of classes attended.
  • Registration/token amounts are non-refundable under all circumstances, including a change of mind, personal reasons, relocation, or dissatisfaction expressed after batch commencement.
  • Any exceptional refund considered solely at the Institute's discretion (for example, a batch being cancelled entirely by the Institute before it starts) will be processed after deducting administrative, processing and material costs, and may take up to 30–45 working days.
  • Fees are not transferable to another individual, course, or batch without prior written approval from the Institute's management, which may itself levy a transfer/administrative charge.
  • Non-payment of due installments may result in suspension of class access, withholding of materials/certificates, and does not exempt the student from the balance amount owed.
  • The Institute reserves the right to revise course fees for future batches or new enrollments at any time without notice; fees already agreed for an enrolled student's current batch remain as invoiced.
  • EMI, discount or offer-based enrollments are subject to additional terms communicated at the time of offer, and discounts once availed cannot be combined or claimed retroactively.

All payment disputes must be raised in writing within 7 days of the transaction; the Institute's internal payment records will be treated as final and conclusive.

04

Course Schedule, Curriculum & Faculty

  • The Institute reserves the right to modify, add, remove or reorder modules, tools, projects or content covered in any course — including this course — at any time, without prior notice, to keep pace with changes in AI tools and platforms.
  • Class timings, batch schedules, faculty/trainers and mode of delivery (offline/online/hybrid) may be changed, rescheduled, combined with another batch, or postponed by the Institute due to operational, faculty or force majeure reasons.
  • Public holidays, trainer unavailability or low batch strength may lead to rescheduled or extended sessions; such changes do not entitle the student to a refund or fee reduction.
  • Names, screenshots, pricing or availability of third-party AI tools referenced in the syllabus (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others) may change due to factors outside the Institute's control; the Institute is not liable for such changes.
05

Attendance, Conduct & Discipline

  • Students are expected to maintain regular attendance and are solely responsible for tracking their own progress and any missed sessions.
  • Missed classes may be permitted a recording, notes, or a one-time makeup session at the Institute's discretion; this is a courtesy, not an entitlement, and is not always guaranteed.
  • Any student found engaging in misconduct, harassment, cheating, damage to Institute property, disruptive behaviour, or violation of Institute policies may be suspended or permanently removed from the course without any refund of fees paid.
  • The Institute's decision on disciplinary matters is final and binding.
06

Certification & Placement Assistance

  • A course completion certificate is issued only if the student has met the Institute's minimum attendance requirement, completed the required practical projects/capstone, and cleared full course fees.
  • The Institute may offer placement assistance, resume support, or interview referrals as a value-added service; this does not constitute a job guarantee, income guarantee, or assurance of freelance work.
  • Outcomes such as salary hikes, freelance income, or career growth depend on the student's own effort, market conditions and third-party hiring decisions, none of which are within the Institute's control.
  • The Institute is not responsible for the actions, offers, or conduct of any third-party employer, client or platform introduced through placement assistance.
07

Third-Party AI Tools & Platforms

  • This course involves training on third-party AI tools and platforms (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Midjourney, Canva, Zapier, Make and n8n) that are owned and operated by independent companies.
  • The Institute has no control over, and is not responsible for, these tools' pricing, free-tier limits, feature changes, downtime, data policies, outputs, or terms of service.
  • Any subscription, account creation, or payment a student makes directly to a third-party AI tool is the student's own responsibility and at their own cost and risk.
  • Students are responsible for using such tools in compliance with each tool's own terms of service and applicable law; the Institute bears no liability for a student's use or misuse of any third-party tool.
08

Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, slides, prompt templates, recordings, frameworks, project briefs and content provided by the Institute remain the intellectual property of Skill Training Institute.
  • Materials are licensed to the enrolled student for personal learning use only; reproduction, resale, public sharing, or redistribution of Institute materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.
  • Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination from the course without refund, in addition to any other legal remedy available to the Institute.
09

Photos, Videos & Testimonials

  • By enrolling, the student grants the Institute permission to photograph, record or use their name, photo, video clips, project work, and written/video testimonials for marketing, social media, website and promotional purposes, unless the student objects in writing at the time of admission.
  • No separate compensation is payable to the student for such use.
10

Limitation of Liability

  • The Institute's total liability, if any, arising out of a student's enrollment shall not exceed the total course fee actually paid by that student.
  • The Institute is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, business opportunity, data, or reputation, arising from the course, its content, or use of any third-party tool taught in the course.
  • The Institute does not warrant that training will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any specific learning outcome or career result will be achieved.
11

Force Majeure

  • The Institute shall not be held responsible for delay, disruption, or cancellation of classes caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet/power outages, strikes, or other force majeure events.
  • In such cases, the Institute may reschedule classes or shift to an online mode at its discretion; this does not entitle the student to a refund.
12

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a student's enrollment shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, and nowhere else.
  • Students agree to first raise any grievance in writing with the Institute's management and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution before pursuing any other remedy.
13

Amendments

  • The Institute reserves the right to amend, update or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • It is the student's responsibility to review these Terms periodically; continued association with the Institute after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Note: These Terms & Conditions are a general template drafted to protect the Institute's interests and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before being published live, to ensure compliance with applicable Indian consumer protection, education and IT laws.
