05Classes, Objects & Constructors+
Designing your first Java classes, creating objects, and writing constructors properly.
06Inheritance & the "super" Keyword+
Extending classes, reusing parent behaviour, and calling parent members with super.
07Polymorphism, Method Overloading & Overriding+
Writing flexible code where the same method behaves differently across classes.
08Abstraction — Abstract Classes & Interfaces+
Designing contracts with abstract classes & interfaces, the backbone of enterprise Java design.
Phase 3 Collections, Exception Handling & File I/O Modules 09–12 Encapsulation & packages, exception handling, Collections Framework, file handling +
09Encapsulation, Access Modifiers & Packages+
Protecting class data properly, and organizing code into clean, reusable packages.
10Exception Handling — try, catch, finally & Custom Exceptions+
Handling runtime errors gracefully, and building your own custom exception classes.
11Java Collections Framework — List, Set & Map+
Storing & managing groups of data with ArrayList, HashSet, HashMap and their common uses.
12File Handling & Java I/O Streams+
Reading from and writing to files using Java's I/O stream classes.
Phase 4 Multithreading, JDBC & Mini Projects Modules 13–16 Multithreading basics, JDBC database connectivity, console mini-project, capstone project +
13Multithreading & Concurrency Basics+
Running tasks in parallel with threads, and avoiding common concurrency pitfalls.
14JDBC — Connecting Java to Databases+
Connecting a Java program to MySQL and running queries from code using JDBC.
15Project: Console-based Inventory/Library Management System+
Mini Project 1: a console application applying OOP, Collections & Exception Handling end-to-end.
16Capstone: Java Application with Database Integration+
Mini Project 2: a complete Java application connected to a live database, built independently.
312 tools & frameworks you'll use
Everything is taught by writing and running real Java code — not just reading theory. Swipe or use the arrows to browse every category.
Writing, compiling & running Java programs the right way.
Core building blocks of enterprise-grade Java code.
Connecting your Java code to real data and tracking your work.
Writing reliable code the way professional Java teams do.
4How each module is taught
Every module in the program follows the same simple, practice-first lens, so you always know what to expect in class.
Watch & Understand
Trainer demonstrates the concept, framework or query step by step, using real application examples.
Practice Live
You write and run the same code on your own computer in class, right after the demonstration, not days later.
Hands-on Exercise
A short coding task using the same concept, close to a real production scenario.
Doubt Clearing
One-on-one help for anyone still stuck, before the class moves to the next module.
Weekly Assessment
A short coding test every week so gaps are caught early, not at the end of the course.
5Projects & practice work
Four hands-on projects across the full syllabus — from core-Java console programs to a database-integrated Java application.
- Project 1. Console-based utility application using core Java (loops, arrays & methods)
- Project 2. OOP-based mini system — e.g. Student/Employee Management using classes, inheritance & polymorphism
- Project 3. Exception-safe application using custom exceptions & the Collections Framework (List/Map-based data handling)
- Project 4. Capstone: Console-based Inventory/Library Management System with JDBC database integration
6Assessment & certification
Weekly practical tests on Core Java, OOP, Collections and Exception Handling concepts, with instructor feedback so nobody falls behind silently.
Final practical exam covering the full syllabus, plus your Java mini-projects used as demonstrable proof of skill.
Java Programming certificate on successful completion, plus resume & interview-readiness support through our 100% Placement Assist program.
7Quick answers
Do I need any prior programming experience for this course?
No. This course starts from JDK/JVM setup and basic Java syntax in Module 1, so absolute beginners are welcome. Some prior exposure to any programming language helps you move faster, but it isn't required.
Will this course teach me Android app development?
This course builds the Core Java, OOP, Collections and Exception Handling foundation that Android development is built on — it does not cover the Android SDK itself. It's the ideal first step before an Android-specific course.
Why learn Java instead of Python or another language?
Java is a strongly-typed, enterprise-grade OOP language used heavily in Android apps, large-scale backend systems and banking/enterprise software — making it one of the most in-demand skills for stable developer roles.
What software do I need to install?
Just the free JDK and an IDE (Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA) — both covered step-by-step in Module 1. Everything else, including MySQL for the JDBC modules, is set up in class.
Are classes online, offline, or both?
Classes are conducted at our Alpha-1, Greater Noida campus with lab computers for hands-on coding practice. Theory sessions are also available online for revision. Morning, evening and weekend timings are available — ask your counsellor for the current schedule.
What can I do after completing this course?
You'll be ready for junior Java developer, Android developer (with further Android-specific training) and backend support roles, with hands-on project experience and resume/interview support through our placement program.
Ready to see a class live?
Book a free, no-obligation demo class and sit in on a real Java Programming session before you decide anything.
