4How each module is taught

Every module follows the same practical, real-drawing lens, so you always know what to expect in class.

1

Concept Walkthrough

Trainer explains the concept with a real site plan or layout scenario first, then the command or standard.

2

Live Along

You build the same drawing, dimension set or layout detail step by step, right alongside the trainer.

3

Hands-on Exercise

An independent task applying the concept to a new site or layout problem.

4

Doubt Clearing

One-on-one help for anyone stuck, before the class moves to the next module.

5

Weekly Assessment

A short practical AutoCAD test every week so gaps are caught early, not at the end.

5Projects & portfolio

Four practical, portfolio-ready drawing projects across the full syllabus — the kind of work you'll show in interviews.

  • Project 1. 2D site plan with plot boundary and building layout, fully dimensioned
  • Project 2. Detailed layout drawing applying setbacks, contours and levels
  • Project 3. Road, drainage and utility layout drawing for a site
  • Project 4. Capstone: complete construction drawing set with sections, sheet layout, and title block

6Assessment & certification

Weekly practical assessments covering drafting commands, dimensioning and site layout detailing, with instructor review and feedback.

Final practical exam across all three phases, plus the capstone project used as your demonstrable, portfolio-ready proof of skill.

Certificate of completion, plus resume and drawing portfolio support through our 100% Placement Assist program.

7Quick answers

Do I need any prior drawing or engineering background?

No. Basic familiarity with site plans is helpful but not required — every drafting concept, from lines to layout detailing, is taught from the ground up.

Do I need my own laptop with AutoCAD installed?

A laptop with AutoCAD is strongly recommended since you'll be practicing daily and building a portfolio, but institute computers with AutoCAD are also available in class.

Will I actually draft real site plans, or is it mostly theory?

You'll draft real site and layout drawings from week one. Every module includes hands-on practice on real or realistic civil drawings, ending in a full construction drawing capstone.

Is this course only about site plans, or does it cover construction drawings too?

This course covers the full 2D civil drafting workflow — site plans, layouts, contours, sections and construction drawings. In-depth structural or road design is covered in our advanced civil design tracks.

Are classes online, offline, or both?

Both. Offline batches run at our Alpha-1, Greater Noida campus; online live batches follow the same curriculum with the same trainers. Morning, evening and weekend timings are available.

What can I do after completing this course?

You'll be ready for CAD draftsman, civil design trainee and junior site drafter roles, with a drawing portfolio of real projects, and can progress into advanced civil design tracks with the same placement support.
