Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all courses, batches, and payment plans offered by Skill Training Institute (STI), Alpha-1, Greater Noida. By paying any amount to STI — as registration, admission, or course fee — you agree to the terms below.
All fees paid to Skill Training Institute (STI) — including registration fees, admission fees, course fees, and installment payments — are strictly non-refundable once paid, under any and all circumstances.
This applies regardless of the reason for discontinuation, including but not limited to change of mind, personal or medical reasons, relocation, work commitments, dissatisfaction with pace or content, non-attendance, or failure to complete the course. Please confirm your course, batch timing, and duration during your free counselling session before making any payment.
1 Why STI follows a no-refund policy
When you enroll in a course, STI reserves a seat for you in that batch, allocates trainer time, blocks lab/software licenses (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Tally, etc.), and commits institutional resources exclusively to your cohort from the day of admission — regardless of whether you attend classes. These costs are incurred immediately and are not recoverable by the institute, which is why fees cannot be refunded once paid.
2 Fees covered by this policy
The following payments are all treated as final and non-refundable once received by STI, in full or in part:
- Registration / booking amount paid to reserve a seat in any batch.
- Admission fee paid at the time of enrollment.
- Course fee, whether paid as a single lump sum or across installments/EMIs.
- Study material, software licensing, certification, and lab access charges billed as part of the course fee.
- Any partial or advance payment, irrespective of the amount paid or the stage of the course reached.

3 Batch transfer & rescheduling (in place of refund)
While fees are non-refundable, STI tries to be reasonable about genuine scheduling conflicts. A student may request, in writing (email or WhatsApp), a one-time transfer to a different batch or timing for the same course, subject to seat availability and at the sole discretion of STI management. Approval of a transfer is not automatic and does not create a right to future transfers or refunds.
4 Installment / EMI plans
If you have opted for an installment plan, the entire outstanding course fee remains payable as per the agreed schedule even if you stop attending classes, are asked to leave for disciplinary reasons, or discontinue voluntarily. Non-payment of pending installments does not cancel your liability to pay them, and STI reserves the right to withhold certificates, mark-sheets, or placement assistance until all dues are cleared.
5 Withdrawal, suspension & misconduct
STI reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's enrollment for indiscipline, misconduct, non-payment of fees, or violation of institute rules, without any obligation to refund fees already paid or waive outstanding dues.
6 Course, trainer & schedule changes by STI
STI may, from time to time and at its discretion, modify batch timings, trainers, mode of delivery (in-person/online), or minor aspects of the syllabus to maintain training quality. Such operational changes do not entitle a student to a refund; STI's only commitment is to make reasonable efforts to complete the course content within the stated duration.
7 Payment gateway & processing charges
Any transaction, payment gateway, or bank charges incurred while making a payment to STI are borne entirely by the student and are non-refundable under any circumstances, even in the rare cases where a credit or adjustment is approved by STI under Section 2 above.
8 Force majeure
STI shall not be liable to refund any fee, or shall only offer make-up classes / adjusted batch continuation as it deems appropriate, where a course is delayed or interrupted due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control — including natural disasters, government/regulatory action, strikes, pandemics, internet or power outages, or other events of force majeure.
9 Free demo class & counselling
The free demo class and free counselling session offered by STI are complimentary and carry no fee. Attending a free demo class or counselling session does not obligate the student to enroll, and no payment made after such a session becomes refundable once processed, as covered under Section 2.
10 Governing law & jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy or fee payments shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Greater Noida / Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
11 Changes to this policy
STI reserves the right to amend, update, or replace this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on this page at the time of your enrollment shall be treated as binding on you for that enrollment.
